Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Dept. remains standby ahead of voting day on February 15, 2017. The purpose, if the unsuitable ID card is detected, it can be verified directly.

No holiday for us during election day. All offices will remain open, like urban village, sub-district and even city government

Edison Sianturi, Head of Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Dept. disclosed the officer will be alerted in offices of urban village, sub-district and mayor. Thus it can simplify them to conduct data verification at polling stations (TPS).

"No holiday for us during voting day. All offices will remain open, like urban village, sub-district and even city government," he expressed, Wednesday (2/8).

Suket Can Only Be Used According to Domicile

He also urges public to supervise about ID card abuse in the field. If it is found, they must make a report to the officer.

"They can also monitor. If the irregularities are found, it can be verified through urban village," he stated.

This is because voting process must be done in accordance with each domicile, especially for suket holder. "They can only use it for voting in accordance with each domicile," he closed.
